| Walking Track | |
|
For those interested in walking a mile or more...a tad more than a 1/2 mile track at the Macon Soccer Club would be to walk around the outside of fields 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. So to do this twice will be a 1.1 mile track. | |

Mercer Girls' Camp 
Mercer University Women's team coach Grant Serafy, has announced the dates for the 2009 Mercer summer camps. These camps have always proven an extremely valuable contribution toward our player development. All girls from 6 to 18 can benefit from the Mercer Soccer Camp experience.
The June Mercer Day Camp will be offered June 15-19
and is for girls ages 6-10 (half-day) and girls 10-16 (full-day).
The July individual Camp will be held July 24-27
and is for girls ages 13-18.

All JV and Varsity players are encouraged to participate.

| Adult League Raises Money for MaconSC |
 The Over-30 Division of the Middle Georgia Adult Soccer League (MGASL) met recently on a beautiful Sunday afternoon to play a full-sided game and raised $270 for the Macon Soccer Club.
Tripp Shimp, the organizer of the event (also the club referee assignor and a U10 Boys Academy coach), said he wanted to kick-off the MGASL season with something special, and several players had suggested this to him.
The game is considered the 1st Annual Fred Pierallini Memorial 11v11 Match. According to Shimp, "He was a friend of many of the guys that play in the Over-30 division. He was a local business owner and played with MGASL for many years as a great goal keeper and sometimes in the field. He died of a sudden heart attack about a year ago; he was in his mid 40s. He was a good friend to everyone and had a passion for playing in the goal. We will be asking for a $5 to $10 voluntary donation to be given to Macon Soccer Club to help with families that cannot afford to play soccer. 100% of this donation will be given to the club. This is a great way to give in a time of need for many families in and around our community. All costs for the game will be paid for by MGASL."

 Macon Soccer Club is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to providing the best soccer experience possible to the players of Middle Georgia.
We do not use any city or county funds. Player registration fees cover the majority of our annual budget. The remainder of the necessary funds are covered by generous donations along with funds generated from advertising with the club. Advertising signs and promotion through the club website can provide great exposure for local businesses.
