Macon SC Weather Policy
We maintain a "we are always open" policy. If you have questions about an Academy or Select game being played at our fields at Macon Soccer Club, please contact the Team Manager or Trainer/Coach. If there is lightning present, the game officials will cancel or suspend play. The decision to play or reschedule due to rain only will be left to team management. Contact information for coaches and team managers is available on the Affinity web site. |

Heart of Georgia Classic Tournament - May 17-18
Macon SC is pleased to announce the second annual Heart of Georgia Classic tournament will be held the weekend of May 17-18th. Macon SC's central Georgia location is ideally located to support teams from Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and the Carolinas. In addition to the standard tournament format, the Heart of Georgia Classic will feature a College Showcase for the U-16, U-17 and U19 age groups. Walking Track
For those interested in walking a mile or more...a tad more than a 1/2 mile track at the Macon Soccer would be to walk around the outside of fields 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. So to do this twice will be a 1.1 mile track. So now you know. |

 Macon SC has announced the evaluation and tryout dates for the U9 - U12 Academy and U13 Select 2008-2009 season.
Academy U9 thru U12 and
Select U13 Classic and Athena teams
will be held as follows:
Tue, May 27th 6 - 7:30pm
Thu, May 29th 6 - 7:30pm
Sat, May 31st 10 - 11:30am
Tue, Jun 3rd 6 - 7:30pm

| Rutland HS Soccer Boosters Golf Tournament |
 Rutland HS Soccer Booster Club will be holding a golf tournament at the Oakview Golf Course on Monday, June 2nd. Since Rutland was built 5 yrs ago, the team has not had a safe field to play on. The current field was used as a dump site for construction debris and is riddled with holes, silt fence, staples, and other construction waste. Current county plans to finish the fields have been put on indefinite hold.
Proceeds from the tournament will be used to clean, level, irrigate, and sod the Rutland HS soccer field for safe play.

| Macon SC's Ben Ngie Earns National ''B'' License |
Congratulations to Ben Ngie for earning his USSF National B license. Ben travelled to the Home Depot center in Carson, California March 29th for a week of intense mental and physical instruction culminating in an extremely difficult written and practical exam. The National "B" is the second highest USSF license available. Good luck next year on the "A" Ben!

| Macon SC Summer Recreational Camp |
 Macon SC will be offering a camp for our recreational players from Wednesday, July 9th through Friday, August 1st. The camp will meet two mornings a week from 8:30 - 11:00 on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Have a family vacation planned in July? Not a problem. The camp runs through a 3 week period so you can pick up where you left off. Please read camp details in our information packet.

| 1st Annual MSC Academy/Select Summer Camp |

| 2008 Summer High School/Middle School Program |
Macon Soccer Club, partnering with Nearpost Soccer, is pleased to announce our 3rd summer six-a-side program. Six-a-Side is a great skill developer, requires fewer players to form a team and relatively inexpensive.
The summer six-a-side program will run from June 2nd - July 19th with matches on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Worried about your vacation plans? This isn't a problem. Most players, at some point, will have a family vacation during the six-a-side season. By signing up a roster of 10 or 11 players, you'll be able to offset having players on vacation.

| 2008 Mercer Girls' Summer Camp |
Mercer University Women's team coach Grant Serafy, has announced the dates for the 2008 Mercer summer camps. These camps have always proven an extremely valuable contribution toward our player development. All girls from 6 to 18 can benefit from the Mercer Soccer Camp experience.
The June Mercer Day Camp will be offered June 16th-20nd
and is for girls ages 6-10 (half-day) and girls 10-16 (full-day).
The July individual Camp will be held July 25th-28rd
and is for girls ages 13-18.
