I was introduced to the beautiful game at the age of 12 by a family friend just before moving from Texas to Georgia in 1987. I was so impressed that once in Georgia, I immediately wanted to sign up and play. My first playing experiences were at Central City Park in the fields of glass left over from the fair. I spent several seasons as a member of one of the areas earliest “select” teams, the MGSA (now Macon Soccer Club) Macon Santos. I was also a 4 year starter at Mount De Sales Academy. After high school, I spent one year with the varsity men’s team at Georgia Southern University before joining the school’s club team. As a member of the club team, I played in the 1997 National Club Sports Soccer Tournament held in Statesboro, GA.

Since graduating college I have participated in several adult leagues and tournaments in the area. I spent 3 years as the boys’ soccer coach at Central High School with a combined record of 38-9-3 and two appearances in the GHSA State Tournament. I have coached both boys and girls teams since coming home to Macon Soccer Club. I have had the honor and pleasure of watching my 3 younger siblings all grow up in the MGSA program and go onto great high school and college soccer careers. I am now glad to be a part of the soccer development and lives of you and your children and I hope that we will have an awesome experience!
