Welcome to our U-14 Program

"U" means "Under" - We place players based on what their age was on July 31st of 2011. We divide

the players in the league into a Boys Division and a Girls Division.

Introduction to more Rules of the game - At U-5 and U-6, we introduced players to the game of

"New Ball".  Basically with no rules. The coaches controlled the game from the center of the field.

At U-8 and older, we begin a more organized structure of soccer. We introduce them to throw-ins,

penalties, corner kicks, etc.  Each team now has a goal-keeper. Instead of the coaches controlling

the game from the center of the field, we now have a referee to control the game.

Practices and Games - Your child will be placed on a team of about 8 to 10 players. We will need

one of the parents to volunteer to coach the team.  The coach and the team usually work out what

evening of the week and what time is best for team practice. Each team will practice 1 evening

per week.  Usually, the times are 5:30 or 6:00. Games will be on Saturday at 9:00 for the Boys and

10:30 for Girls.
